Nissia Boutique Hotel & Suites is seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead our culinary team for the Summer 2026 season. Situated in the vibrant resort town of Kavos on Corfu's southern tip, Nissia is known for its commitment to authentic Ionian flavours reimagined through a contemporary Mediterranean lens.
As Head Chef, you will have full creative ownership of our 120-cover à la carte restaurant, a poolside grill concept, and daily staff meals. You'll mentor a brigade of 8, manage supplier relationships with local Corfiot farmers and fishermen, and ensure every plate reflects the island's remarkable produce.
This is not a chain-hotel role - we value creative autonomy, seasonal menus, and a genuine passion for Greek island gastronomy. If you've ever wanted to cook with ingredients sourced hours earlier from the Ionian Sea, this is your opportunity.
Κύριες αρμοδιότητες
Design and execute seasonal menus rooted in Ionian and wider Mediterranean culinary traditions, updated monthly based on local produce availability.
Lead, train, and motivate a kitchen brigade of 8 - maintaining a positive and high-performance kitchen culture.
Oversee all kitchen operations across the à la carte restaurant (120 covers), poolside grill, and private dining events.
Manage food cost and purchasing in collaboration with the F&B Manager, targeting a 28-32% food cost ratio while maximising quality.
Maintain HACCP compliance, hygiene standards, stock rotation, and kitchen documentation.
Coordinate with front-of-house leadership to keep service smooth during peak summer periods.
